Great Indian food at an appealing price point. We moved away from East SJ in 2020, but we keep coming back. We love the gobi aloo and the cauliflower dish! And I could drink a gallon of the mango Lassi!

We usually order food to go. I like their plum paneer, malai kofta, lychee paneer, and dal tadka. We ask for spicy as needed and they make the food decently spicy. They also make it mild for three kids as needed. I like their garlic naan as well. Service is quick and the location is easy to get to with plenty of parking.

Came here with a group of 5 for a cousins dinner night on a Friday evening at 6pm. We were the only ones dining in the restaurant until two people came in later in the meal after us and ordered wonderful-smelling tandoori chicken. They were accommodating to our big group and shifted the tables for us. We found the prices to be great considering normal meals in the Bay Area. We ate family-style and shared... Dahi sev puri - I was craving pani puuri and this was the closest thing to it on the menu. It was my cousins' first time trying it. It was like a cold, wet yogurt explosion in the mouth. Lots of sweet and tangy flavors here. I liked it but one was good enough for me since they're big, like it'd fill your whole mouth. It was a refreshing appetizer. Veggie samosas - Big sizes and flavorful filling. My favorite dip is the tamarind one. It also comes with a green mint chutney. Butter chicken - This was tasty. We ordered a mild-medium spice because one of our cousins has a low tolerance. We ordered hot sauce on the side that wasn't spicy at all. Anyway, this butter chicken went along well with the naan. Not the most addictive butter chicken I've had, but we generally enjoyed it. Bhindi masala - My favorite part of our whole meal! The Bhindi masala had great flavors and the okra texture was so good. I enjoyed it with the biryani and naan. Chicken biryani - Instead of rice, we ordered the biryani instead. I think it could've used more spices, but it went well with out other entrees, the bhindi masala and butter chicken. Garlic naan - We got two for our party and it was enough. They're quite big! It wasn't dry; it was soft and I liked the dispersion of the garlic on the bread. Aloo paratha - Along with our naan, this aloo paratha was enough bread for our party. The smoothness of the bread was delicious and I loved the texture. Mango lassi - Thick and not the freshest. However I almost always need to have it with an Indian meal, and it did okay with washing down the food and spices. The service was quick and friendly. I am glad this spot exists here in North SJ.

Hidden Gem!!! I came for the lunch and their specials were really so good! The shop is inside a massive plaza with a bunch of parking. There was a decent amount of seating and it was not busy at all. Manager was amazing and service was awesome! Food made to order and took about 10-15min. Togo order: 9/10 Garlic Naan $4 - Fresh, warm, airy, and most importantly filled with garlic! 10/10 Butter Chicken $12 - Rich, creamy, and flavorful! Chicken chunks were tender and portion was really good! 10/10 Tandoori Chicken $11- x3 thigh and x4 drumsticks. Juicy and tender chicken meat! The char from clay oven added good flavor. Goes really well with their green and tamarind sauces! 8/10 Mango Lassi $5 - Creamy and thick consistency. mango flavor was solid. Pretty good overall.

I have to say, this is the best Indian takeout I've had in San Jose. This was my first time trying it. I ordered: Vegetable Samosas Plain/Mint/Boondi Raita/Cucumber Raita Chicken Tikka Masala Garlic Naan The taste is perfect. The portions are very generous for the price. The takeout process was quick and on time. I am extremely impressed overall. Every item was delicious.

Just ate here for lunch around 11:30 today ( Friday 11/17/23). Delicious Indian food. It was not busy at all for dine in. People tend to order to-go than dine in. You order what you want at the cashier and then seat yourself. Staff will pour water, bring food and utensils. I called 2 days ahead to ask if we can bring a bday cake and the lady asked how many people. I said 7 but we only had 5 on the day of. The lady said sure. Plenty of parking in big parking lot. We brought our own plates and candles. They have to-go utensils that we used for the cake. We ordered a mix of spicy, mild, and no spice. The biryani still had spice though. I'm good with mild spice. Food took maybe 10 mins to arrive.
